RealWork Labs Alternative

We build your software.
You own it forever.
you own it

RealWork Labs rents you a login to their platform, and the day you stop paying, your proof-of-work leaves with it. Augernaut is the alternative that builds you the software. Jobsite Pins comes with your custom website, publishes every finished job to your own domain, and stays yours forever. You are the owner, not a middleman’s tenant.

Software you own No contracts No middleman

Rent a login, or own the software

They rent it to you.
We build it for you.

RealWork Labs, DataPins, and most tools like them run the same rented-platform model: you log into their software, on their domain, and you pay for access for as long as you want to keep your own proof-of-work. On a rented platform, cancelling typically means it goes with your login.

Augernaut flips that. Every custom website we build comes with its own Jobsite Pins software, built for your business, easy to manage yourself, and yours to keep forever. It turns every completed job into geo-tagged proof-of-work on a site you own. You are not renting a widget from a middleman. You own the software that does the work.

Rented platform vs owned software who keeps it
  • Their platform

You log in, you pay, they hold the proof. Stop paying and it’s gone.

  • Your software

Built into your own site, easy to manage, publishing your jobs on your domain.

  • The day you leave

Theirs disappears with the login. Yours stays, every page and the software with it.

RealWork Labs vs Augernaut

Same goal. Different owner.

Both help you win local trust. The difference is who owns the software when the work is done.

How your software works

CRM sync to
local content.

We pull closed jobs from ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber and publish geo-tagged proof-of-work to your own site and profile. No app for your techs to open, nothing to log into on anyone else’s platform.

  1. 01

    CRM sync

Closed jobs and field photos pull from ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber — automatically.

  2. 02

    Geo-tagged job posts

Each job becomes a neighborhood-specific proof-of-work post on your own domain.

  3. 03

    GBP + site publish

Every post feeds your Google Business Profile, service pages, and local visibility.

  4. 04

    You own the result

The pages, the photos, and the software stay yours — running whether or not a login is open.

The software, live on a client’s site

Not a demo. A site they own.

This is the feed running on a plumber’s own website, not a preview inside someone else’s platform. Every job the crew closes in Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan publishes itself here as photo-backed proof, on their domain, indexed under their name. Same job a RealWork login would show, except this one belongs to the contractor.

What happens the day you cancel?

On a rented platform, the answer is brutal: your login dies, and the pages, galleries, and job content built inside their software die with it. As of July 2026, RealWork Labs’ own published terms spell it out: when you cancel, you lose access to your account and any data stored in it. That is not a knock on any one tool, it is how renting works. Because Augernaut builds the software into a site you own, there is no login to lose. Leave whenever you want and you keep the website, every published page, and the software itself. You built the proof. You should own the tool that made it.

RealWork Labs alternative FAQ for contractors

Switching questions.
What is the best RealWork Labs alternative?

The strongest alternative is the one where you own the software instead of renting a login. RealWork Labs is a capable reviews and neighborhood-marketing platform, but you log into their system and the work lives there. Augernaut builds Jobsite Pins software into your own custom website. Every completed job publishes as proof-of-work on a site you own, and the software comes with your build and stays yours forever. Owner, not renter.

How is Augernaut different from RealWork Labs?

RealWork Labs rents you access to their platform. Augernaut builds you the software. When you get a custom website from Augernaut, Jobsite Pins comes with it: it pulls closed jobs from ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber and publishes each one as geo-tagged proof-of-work on your own domain. It is easy to manage, there is no app for your techs, and you keep it forever. You are the software owner, not a middleman’s subscriber.

Who are RealWork Labs’ competitors and alternatives?

RealWork Labs competes with contractor local-marketing tools like DataPins, Map Check-Ins, NearbyNow, and Linda (Local Optics). Most of them run the same rented-platform model: you log in, you pay, and the proof-of-work lives on their system. Augernaut is the alternative built the opposite way. Instead of renting you a login, we build Jobsite Pins software into a website you own, so the job proof is yours to keep. If you are weighing RealWork Labs competitors, that ownership difference is the one that actually matters.

Do I own the software, or am I renting it?

You own it. Jobsite Pins is custom software built into your own Augernaut website, not a widget you log into on someone else’s platform. The site, the pages, and the software that publishes your jobs are yours. Stop the monthly publishing service any time and you keep everything already built. Try that with a rented platform, where cancelling means your proof-of-work disappears with your login.

How do I cancel RealWork Labs?

As of July 2026, per RealWork Labs’ own published terms, you cancel by phone with their customer success team — cancellations by text, email, or a third party are not accepted. You have to give verbal notice at least 10 days before your term renews, otherwise it auto-renews on a monthly plan. Because it renews on its own, mark that 10-day window so a cancellation call does not slip past the deadline. Always confirm the current policy on RealWork Labs’ own terms page before you cancel.

What happens to my reviews and data when I cancel RealWork Labs?

As of July 2026, RealWork Labs’ published terms state that when you cancel you lose access to the service and any data or information stored in your account once your final paid term ends. Your Google reviews live on your Google Business Profile, so those stay with you, but the content hosted inside their platform does not follow you out. That is the entire reason to own the software instead of renting it: with Jobsite Pins built into a site you own, there is no account to be locked out of.

How much does the RealWork Labs alternative cost?

Jobsite Pins runs on a website we build, so it starts with an Augernaut site — either a one-time custom build or our $0-down monthly membership. Once your site is live, the software is yours: you can publish your own jobs yourself, as often as you want, at no ongoing cost. The flat $500 per month, no contracts, is only if you want us to do the publishing for you — up to 50 geo-tagged proof-of-work posts a month, done for you, or included in our Growth System package. There is no per-tech app fee either way, and the website and software are yours to keep. You are paying for the labor of publishing, never for access to your own proof.
